Basic Riding Lessons
Great for learning how to go from training wheels to balancing on two wheels. Ideal for those young shredders
We will teach your how to balance, pedal, and use brakes.
We also give you tips to take home to continue to master two wheels.
Fundamental MTB Skills
Great for learning how to be balanced and stable riding on the trails.
We work on body position and maintaining stability when the terrain changes.
Learn basic riding techniques to build your confidence.
(Basic and Advanced)
Great for learning to successfully lift your wheels over obstacles. This includes: basic front wheel lift, advanced front wheel lift (higher), rear wheel lift, level lift, manuals, and bunny hops.
Riding Steeper Terrain
Great for developing confidence on those techy downhills. We discuss line choice, body position, braking, proper bail technique, pedaling wheel lifts, and roll downs (riding small drops 2 ft and smaller/ledges)
Cornering and Slow Tight Turns
Great for learning to carry more speed and feel more stable in turns and berms.
Switchbacks and tight turns are often tough and we break down the skills to get you around them safely!
Get Your Flow On
Great for learning how to maximize your riding by conserving energy, pumping, line choice, drops, jumping, and driving the bike.
Great for discussing pre-race, race day, and post-race planning to help you feel more confidence entering a race.

Kids Lesson and Rides
Have a young shredder that you want to be more confident on trails? These lessons are great for introducing young riders to mountain biking!
We keep rides and lesson fun and energetic by adding games and activities that keep kids attention and focus while teaching them skills.

Riding Indoors and Facing Fears
Cleveland, Ohio is home to Ray’s Indoor MTB park, a great place to work on skills during the winter.
Have you wanted to check out Ray’s, but are intimidated by the park? We were too, until someone showed us around and helped us learn the ropes. We offer lessons, clinics, and guided rides at Ray’s to help to take the fear out of riding indoors!
